Self-care for when you’re feeling run down

I’ve been feeling run down this week - tired and working on lots of different projects. So, I've made a conscious decision to clear my diary for the next 48 hours and prioritise a bit of self-care.

We often wear our busy lives as a badge of honour (although I feel a shift over the last few months, do you?), but taking time to relax isn't an indulgence, it's essential to give our mind and body time to repair.

This weekend I'm looking after myself by:
1. Spending time outside and doing some exericse
2. Reducing time on my phone (someone please hold me to this!)
3. Reading
4. Getting 8 hours of sleep
5. Cooking healthy meals

What does your self-care routine look like? Do you schedule time for relaxation? If you can't take a day or a weekend, can you get up a little earlier so you don't have to rush your morning routine? Enjoy your cuppa in the garden? Or turn the radio off next time you're in the car and enjoy the silence?
