That Roosevelt fella was onto something, eh? Why on earth would we waste our energy examining someone else’s life? The only life we have any real control over is our own.

We also have a tendency to compare the worst of something in our own life to the best of something in someone else’s life. That doesn’t make any sense, does it? It makes even less sense if it’s someone on social media who you don’t know and only see a tiny snapshot of their life. I KNOW! We all do it!

But hopefully, now, you’ll remember this quote - find inspiration and ideas in others, but don’t waste a second comparing yourself to someone else.
